A PENANCE FULFILLED

Black demons wrapping the floor of blue,

Would cover the land in the ravishing rage soon,

Waves lashing to steal the grains, to digest,

Any moment heat would be quenched in full…

In the little heart the storm has not yet calmed,

That angel personified,

It wants the protection to reduce distress,

Where has it lost its all? Little feet cannot tread,

Culmination haunting the dwarf, lungs punctured in whole,

Wails bringing anybody close, but the angel far far away…

Fire in the eyes, on the face as snow,

Thorns piercing the heart, re-birth once more,

Careless calculations have given horrendous pain,

Moments leaping cladding anxiety more and some more…

That instant never wanting to repeat itself,

She hopes she can retrace, she wants her soul,

Her search in vain, has not asked not one,

Everywhere in the land, in every drop of water,

Her darling she brought, her love it portrayed,

Her lust she fed, her own it stayed…

Vanity of nature, she cursed, nature has not one,

She tendered her skin that much, not a piece she can afford to loose,

All the while her eyes were full of him, now her agony,

That moment her lids gave away,

Opening to reality, she realized her distraught,

Oh where, where was he?

What reason was her dear to ask?

What answer was she to say?

What has she done, she brought and lost,

What fate was she to pay?

She closed her eyes, her heart prayed aloud,

Lips tightened in dismay, what not to bray?

That hand tagged her cloth so tight,

Her name sounded by her side,

That cry gave the hope she longed for,

That joy returned once again…

Pearl lips spread in a smile,

She couldn’t pursue the stand so long,

Gathering her little gift of god with all her might,

She kissed till it was all wet and new…

She promised she wouldn’t leave him alone, never again,

The tot laughing at her, was he her mother?

Tears flooded, the emotions conquered,

She had her re-birth yet again!!
